La convocatoria CICERONE (Prácticas de laboratorio en el CNIC) tiene como objetivo acercar la investigación biomédica a los estudiantes de Master y de los últimos cursos de un Grado universitario de Biomedicina (Medicina, Biología, Biotecnología, etc.) o áreas relacionadas con este campo (Física, Química, Ingeniería, etc.) mediante estancias de 6 semanas en el CNIC para la realización de prácticas durante un periodo comprendido entre el 1 de julio y el 15 de septiembre de 2023.
El propósito de esta convocatoria es acercar la investigación biomédica a los estudiantes universitarios para que puedan escoger más adecuadamente su orientación profesional y la posibilidad de desarrollar una carrera científica en el futuro.
El plazo de presentación de las solicitudes se abrirá al día siguiente de la publicación del extracto de esta convocatoria en el BOE y finalizará el día 28 de abril de 2023.

Program Objectives
Through its Internship Program, the Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Cardiovasculares (CNIC) offers practical training periods in cardiovascular research to undergraduate and postgraduate students, including Erasmus interships, Trabajo Fin de Grado (TFG) or Degree´s Thesis and Trabajo Fin de Máster (TFM) or Master´s Thesis. All internships are to be carried out in CNIC laboratories.
General Conditions
According to Royal Decree RD 592/2014, the CNIC must secure a formal Agreement on Educational Cooperation with the University at which the student is registered. The CNIC Internship Program contemplates two types of internship:
- Curricular. Internships forming part of the student’s programmed academic curriculum.
- Extracurricular.Internships undertaken as a voluntary option during the student’s training period, and not forming part of the programmed academic curriculum.
